Exploring mindfulness
What is mindfulness?
Define it your way
Mindfulness has many interpretations. I like to think of it as:
“Intentionally choosing to pay purposeful attention, non-reactively, to both internal and external experiences as they are happening in the here and now, with openness, kindness and inner compassion.”

Breath work
Why do we choose the breath? We are always breathing and the breath is always with us.
How often have you paused in your day just to pay attention to the way you breathe?
Listen to our 5-minute breathing space, to give yourself that pause in your day.

Body scan
The body scan is a formal practice to cultivate that mind-body connection, where you can begin to pay attention to your body and the sensations which may or may not be present. Recommended for a better night’s sleep, listen to our 15-minute body scan practice to wind down and transition into the end of your day with ease.

“I’m teaching psychology in college and doing psychological research on improving quality of life for people with emotional difficulties. I teach mindfulness and practice myself too. Mindfulness is what I really enjoy doing to achieve a sense of self-awareness and mental growth. Teaching mindfulness is also an important part in my life. I’m happy to see how people gain wider perspectives in everyday life, get more curious for themselves and other people, be more confident in dealing with physical and emotional difficulties, and be more competent to seize every present moment.”
